How do I remove the rear clusters?

Hi guys

Does anyone know how to remove the pre-facelift rear clusters? I plan on installing my new clear indicator set within the next few days and hope its not going to be hard to do.

I've been advised that I will need to buy a red fog bulb for the rear. Can someone tell me the model of it / a link if poss please. I've searched ebay but can't seem to find it :-(

I've also got the 3rd strip break light. Can someone advise me on this too.

Thanks guys. You lot are the best!

real easy... there is a flap behind the lights in the boot...

remove the flap and reveal the bolts holding the light in place - undo the bolts and the light comes out. dont forget to remove the lighting wires...

be careful removing the french fry and then reapply to the new lights :D

I bought a new sticky strip from the dealer for the might sum of 75 pence each side, saved me messing with non OEM products ...

I bought some trim tape from halfrauds...

Did you deckare this non OEM change to your insurance company? 8)

Do a search on fitting the centre light for more details but in essence a 10mm (I think deep socket) undo 3 holding bolts an springs and it pops out.

Don't drop the bolts or springs inside the boot and tighten it only gently against the springs else you'll find in the future the corners stress crack off.

I missed the Q about the 3rd brake light...

I managed to do mine without a deep socket set - dont ask how though...

My memory aint as good as it used to be

Great thanks for the quick response guys.

One last question unanswered though - can anyone provide me with a part number / link to the rear fog bulb. I need to buy a red one for the new lights.

When it's all done I'll get some pics up. Thanks again guys

i think its a 8mm socket, however i could be wrong. I only did mine about a month ago and the 8mm socket sounds familiar for this job. Its very easy by the way.

What lights have you got, if they are UK spec then you should have a red lens over the foglight and not need a red lamp (bulbs are planted in the garden).
I am assuming that you have got European spec lights so you now have a red reversing light, can't help you with an exact part no. but I used somethnig like this, can't remember if the pins are offset or not.

Could well be right Easty - frankly I just pluck the right one out of the deep socket section of the set :)
