I know what you mean. I had to go through the same tunnel several times yesterday with my foot to the floor!

Do ou ever notice how when you floor it first thing, when just setting off, that's when the exhaust really lets out the loudest yelp you've ever heard!!? I get told off for waking up all the neighbours!!

i like putting it away hot then going back in garage half hour later . just a smell that then makes happy
then there's the sport button :driving: oh yeah thats where the real buzz is

Rsk/Vidge...what part of the country are you both from?

i am in Horsham, West Sussex.

i also love the over run noise, "pop bang pop pop BANG" though again i know thats me simply burning fuel for no reason other than noise... but i love it!

Vidge, not a million miles away, lets see if we can get some other E89's together and some E85/86's together for a meet, I think a conscious effort to get some more E89's together is called for, as usually we only get one or two at meets.

i am always up for a meet (if anyone mentions handbrakes there will be trouble.....:))

you say "not a million miles away" but didnt mention where you are!

Oooh Horsham.... I shall hopefully be in Horsham and Cowfold visiting friends on Saturday afternoon after collecting the new car in the morning!

I'm in Richmond, SW London.

Sat is tricky, although as tested as I would be to get 3 E89's together. I'm going to see Arsenal play...

I am in Putney, so count me if early....

Oh and why I like it (agree with all points raised)

Comfort for 80% of the time, turn on the adaptive suspension etc in sport + roof down good road, goes pretty dam well. Oh and let's you slip the back end nicely even without a LSD....

Economy wise, it's much better than my Elise (mind you had to get that over 6000rpm before you got the thing to sing....)

It's under rated, which means its the under- dog no bad thing!
