How do I know for sure my roof motor is broken?

Hey guys,

I praying for a miracle but I think my Z4 roof is dead

I just want to check if the motor sort of makes a noise and partly moves isn on the very first attempt and then nothing happens...

I have checked everything else and got a diagnostics from a garage witch showed nothing and no fault but the roof just doesn't do anything anymore?

Is it defiantly the roof motor? and if so anywhere good in warwickshire to et it fixed up?

they bought me a new motor.

Have you tried opening the roof from locked holding the open button still for about. 10 seconds?.
Mine wouldn't open from inside the car recently just was dead on the buttons but when I got out and tried the key option it was fine and appeared to " reset" it and all is well since.
