How do i get my exhaust to sound like this?

i love the sound of that. would the same sound be achieved by removing the rear backbox, but keeping the centre silencer? or would it need to be completely straight through?

any examples/vids/pics will be appreciated, cheers.
 
the description says ''4 Pipe Custom Exhaust on a BMW Z4 3.0i Roadster''. Ask the guy what exactly did he done .
 
Yes Marius. That's nice. Let that be a lesson as to how an exhaust video should be made. Well almost. Could have done without the farding.:hairdryer: A very little bit of free revving. Then a drive away. Sorry. But I can't stand the chaviness of an exhaust video were one just rev's the piss out of the engine without a load.
 
Ah yes, I have heard about them. Might pop in for a quote.

only thing is getting the sound right as I don't want it too loud/droney.

I bought a BlueFlame exhaust off the forum a while back but I decided I preferred the stealth mode, but I have to say that clip sounds good :thumbsup:
 
Anyone got an exhaust done from Elite Direct in Rainham? I am in East London and want to get a backbox. Will take a look at Pipecraft as well.
 
Strange because on the Magnaflow website, there simply isn't any selection for a Z4. Where do you get the application from then?

i haven't, but i always get my tyres changed there and as far as i know, they only fit off the shelf systems such as remus, rather than making and fitting custom exhausts.
 
There is a distributer for Magnafow products here in the UK called PROFUSION customs. A simple google search will suffice.

Take it to them, they do great work and it'll sound like a beast in half a day.
 
The eissenman race sounds similar, I'll have to take a few videos of mine - very loud but sounds absolutely awesome. My mate (who is a petrolhead) said it sounded strangely Ferrari-esque once warm.

Agreed, because of this video I ordered the exact same system, with the correct part numbers from Magnaflow... :)
