How do I change E85 rear fog light bulb?!

Just had this error - bulb out, apparently. I have checked/tested all lights and it would appear to be the rear fog light.



Thing is - and to be clear, I am no expert here - but I can see how to change the main bulbs, but how on earth do I get to the rear fog bulb? I've circled where it would appear that the bulb is!

Worst case, you can undo the 4x 10mm nuts and remove the light unit from the car (you might find you need a new gasket though if the old one is past it's best).

Something is odd there, you should have four of those white oblong things on each side - they are the bulb holders.

I tried to remove the unit earlier by undoing these 3 nuts - wouldn't budge. What am I doing wrong!

You'll probably find that it's stuck a bit on the gasket - just try rocking it back and fourth gently and it should work loose.

If you think it's the NSR then it probably isn't. That one doesn't illuminate.

Quickest check is to code read if you have a reader. Swap the fog bulbs if not.

Afternoon all.

Quick update - ALL SORTED!

Removed both rear light units, then removed fog lamp bulbs, tested them, thus confirming both bulbs were actually working fine.

Carefully re-seated them within their black plastic housings and popped them back in to test... and now working, plus the dashboard warning has gone!
