How big an owner?

Silly and odd question, but how big a driver can fit in a z4 with the roof up? I'm over 6ft and to be honest test drove my car with the hood down

I'm 6'1" and have plenty of headroom. No worries.
Had concerns that I would be feeling claustrophobic but it's also a nice wide cabin with plenty of legroom too.

Make certain you've got the seats all the way down . . . . the manual seats drop a Loooooonnnnggg way :lol: (Had them in my 2 litre). Electric seats don't drop quite so far but it still makes a big difference.

A cuddly 6'3" with size 16 feet no problems here, also no problems with the hardtop on either
