I just can't believe it but thank god your son and you are safe. I can't imagine how scared you were for him.

The dirty scum bags need lining up and shooting with their own guns.

It's just stuff, you and your boy are more important. I'm sending you huge girly hugs because you might need a few at the moment.

First time that I've heard of this taking place in the UK. While it's not an everyday crime here it does happen much too often and it call "Home Invasion". Good to hear that you and your son are ok.

I'm really sorry to hear this, it would make me want to buy a gun and get a hunting licence....

Don't neglect your hand and face because you're distessed about everything else. Have yourself checked out - not just for treatment but to add to the charges brought against the perpetrators if and when justice prevails...

The only positives can be that your son hasn't come to any physical or emotion harm, and your other pride and joy is also safe. I suppose one other plus is that the TT is likely to break down before they reach Birmingham :P
 
So sorry to read this the one place you should be and feel safe and then this happens I feel sick for you but glad your lad is ok.
 
Sorry to hear of your experience, really brings it home how desperate some people are getting in this day and age in an increasingly lawless society. At least the only thing you've lost is some possessions and no one was seriously hurt.
Here's hoping the plod take time out from chasing naughty motorists and actually catch these scum.
 
I think your laws in the States regarding home defense are spot on, here in the UK if we try and defend ourselves and god forbid the attackers are injured, it is usually the home owners that go to jail. The official line is that if you find burglers or similar in your home you are to open the front door and invite them to leave carrying whatever they please as to try and stop them carrying off your possessions constitutes assault.

Retarded beyond words.

I'd imagine we'll be reading or watching this on the news tonight, will keep an eye out. Sounds really serious, especially being tied up. Surprised there isn't anything up already.
