⌛296 Rims - How To Identify Your's

As discussed in another thread, I'd like to re-post it here:

There exist 2 different versions of these 296 rims! The elder ones are critical and might crack, the newer generation is fine.

Google translate is spoiling things " left old, right new old new old new ", and the photos are really not very clear.

Is there an easy way to tell whether or not you have the newer, improved wheels?

The pic description is just the order of the pics i think.. 6 pictures hence the old new old new are pics 3,4,5 and 6.. The old ones look almost flat in the barrel but the new ones have a more pronounced lip?

Habe heute meine Felgen aufbereiten lassen und habe bei dieser Gelegenheit auch auf Risse kontrolliert ... :furious3: Hinten links 1 Riss, hinten rechts 2 Risse Werde morgen beim Händler mein Glück versuchen. Hast Du bei der Aufbereitung die Spuren von Bordsteinkontakten beseitigen lassen...
