Hot night, roof off

Just got home a short while ago. Roof off, hot night, full moon. There is something very special about having the roof off in the dark. Don't get to do it very often - not normally allowed out after dark without adult supervision. :P

It nearly made up for my normal 2 hour commute from the office taking 3 1/2 hours courtesy of South West's trains playing up because it was too hot FFS.

I feel your pain with the trains today - I had two connections - both delayed, a two hour journey took over 4hrs in the scorching heat!! Got back to my car - Roasting hot inside, all I could manage was the tiny windows down.. :(

Just back from a late drive over the Somerset moors, up through Cheddar Gorge then over the Mendips, fantastic! Some tool in an Audi was spoiling for a race at one stage but was missing the point. Go play with yourself friend 8)

Heading upto central London in a bit its definitely a roof down night tonight,

will no doubt have a few hand signals and shout of w++++r aimed my way

Driving at about 6 it was still mega hot, roof down obviously! But I decided to turn the A/C on, brilliant! Cold air at my feet and coming up and sun above me.

Only if Lynchy sees you!

I've just landed. Myself, Phill4510 & 2dogs have just driven back home from Rhossilli on the tip of the Gower.

For me, 95.5 miles (mostly M4) , roof down and still 25.5 degrees at 11pm !! Madness :driving:
A great evening over the Brecons, then down to Rhossill & Worms Headi

I haven't managed night time driving as I've had a few :D

But I got in the car at 5.45 this morning and banged the roof down - that was ace

But you can't beat night time too down action :driving:

Night time two down action is great but pretty tricky in a roady and not very private :P

Zed stayed in the garage today. Too hot. Should have mentioned, yesterday I took her out about 9pm and emptied the 3/4 tank in not much over an hour. :D

Driving at dusk is fantastic, only drawback is the neighbours must wonder who the nutter is washing flies off his car, in the dark, when I get home.

Roof down yesterday evening on the way back from work. Had the joy of pulling along side some colleagues in their rover sweat box who take the p**s out of me over my passion for my car, and I had great pride in shouting "Bless" to them as I sped off with the wind blowing through my hair.

Also followed up with a night drive, after all it would have been rude not to. :D
