Hot News! - I have modified a CDV

You could put a wanted ad in the buy/sell section. I removed mine completely then gave it to another forum member.... :thumbsup:
 
And on that note I should really that Nosa, removed my CDV completely, then I gave it to another forum member :lol:
 
just modified my m cdv and it bore little resemblance to your pics, mind you my insert cam out in tiny bits as i broke it up, am intrigued how you did it houdini because it is physically larger than the hole at either end. :?
 
Advice from a mechanical engineer who has long dealt with fluid systems and dynamics.....you guys do realise that the reason this was fitted by BMW was to protect your DMF clutches and flywheels from impact during hard de-clutching? It basically slows the fluid flow on de-clutching; smoothing out hard, impacting changes and the vibration harmonics they induce into your transmission. Regular sharp clutch disengagements could eventually lead to clutch drive-spring failure and cracked flywheels. Food for thought.....hence mine stays where it is. I wouldn't buy any car the CDV-delete has been performed on.

But if you can drive and don't drop the clutch in there isn't going to be any problems

And how would you kno if it's been deleted or not? Some people out modified cdv in so you would be none the wiser
