Hose Dispute

Little suction from the oil filler and dipstick is good, excessive is bad so CCV probably OK (disclaimer).

Have you checked the DISA valve? It's mounted on the intake, black box witch vacuum pot with it's own thread....http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=12150 deffo have that checked, can be repaired via kit or replaced in full from the stealers, remove, inspect, clean with intake cleaner and replace if good. It can be an issue for idle, was glad I checked mine at first as it was about to implode into the intake! Silly, silly thing to mount on an intake IMO.

Perhaps read this.... http://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/s...Intermittent-rough-engine-2007-Z4-2-5si-Sport

There's no codes at all? What's your oil consumption like? Get the MAF removed and cleaned correctly? With the MAF electrical connector removed, any difference? Any luck the with other garage?

Hi Guys,

Apologies for the radio silence, Ive been waiting until I had an update which I now have!

Ive now been to a 3rd garage organised by the warranty company, and they plugged the car in and got an error code straight back which I took a picture of and have attached. Am I right in thinking that this error code means I need a new DISA valve? If it is I think Im going to do it myself!

Why spend your own money if you have a warranty. If the new part doesn't fix the problem you will be out of pocket.
The ,garage sent you for this diagnostic check,I would let them follow it up.
