horn problem!

Horn randomly sounds whilst driving. Not sure whether its an alarm issue or a problem with the horn push. Any help would be great.

is it going off in a regular pattern, or irratically, as if something is loose? i'd take the airbag off and have a look at the connections for the horn push in the steering wheel - i'd imagine something is shorting and its occasionally closing the circuit and sounding the horn.
 
The alarm doesn't sound the car's main horn. the alarm system has a dedicated horn in the right rear of the car behind the wheel well.
