Everybody know that the hood is made of waterproof kryptonite, 2.32 layers. Nothing gets through that...
I use dyluthium crystal wax paste to top up the outer layer of kryptonite.... :?

Leave the damn pigeons on the roof, pulling them off may make holes in the outer layer rendering it permeable.
Best let the car eat the larger parts then open and close the roof a few times. The remains can then be blended into the roof using hot bitumen and a small makeup trowel (the best size is as used by the orange women in Debenhams cosmetic department)
Any feathers sticking out can be removed with a wax strip.

I use roofing felt, but not the coarse one as it cracks when the roof is folded.
Just make sure you buy the right nails.

Roofing felt is a good medium-term solution. As anyone knows, however, a felt roof has a limited timespan even with fastidious maintenance with bitumen. Mine will be ten years old next year and I am looking to have my felt replaced with good old tiles. And possibly solar panels at the same time. Saves money in the long run if I decide to go hybrid.
