Hood no longer operating

Hi, some advice on what sounds like a big expensive job please. The hood motor has stopped working and I've been told that the motor is burned out. I live near Worcester and wondered if anyone could recommend an outfit/person, who can sort it out. Any suggestions would be very welcome. Thanks if you can help.. :(
 
I only know of Dave in Durham who has worked wonders on my and other forum members roof motor but i'm sure i read somewhere about a guy in Bristol who does the same relocation and repair work.
You'll have to search the roof threads yourself i'm afraid.
Dont jump to conclusions though as it could also be just the microswitch has failed.

I am in Bristol and am happy to have a look. Im based on the M4/M5 interchange

They are normally revieable and I'll relocste it to the boot At the same time if you like. I also have a spare motor here, so can fit a replacement whilst its all out if necessary.
