Hood covers

Me too !

Looking back at old posts, the buzz top is cheaper but the magnetic strips are not covered in a protective microfibre material and some owners say it's scratched the paintwork and the customer service is very poor.

I would love to see a video of fitting the Cabrio shield if anyone can do it.

Cheers

Yeah Rob, after looking at the feedback on the Buzztop i came to the conclusion of cost compared to quality if you know what i mean ?.......Perhaps I've just answered my own question 8)

Just got one. Some thoughts in here: http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=57424

Can you guys get the Caifornia PopTop where you're at?

This is it: http://www.capoptop.com

I have a nice full outdoor cover that I use most of the time, but I had been wanting a half cover for those times when I'm out and about for a few days in the Z. Found this on Amazon (Japan) for a reasonable price and have been quite pleased. It's thin and lightweight, but seems to be quite durable. If you want something heavy this isn't it. Basically it just protects the roof fabric from the sun and bird poop etc., keeps crud out of the drains, and keeps the car interior cool while preventing fading. Quick and easy to install and remove compared to the full cover.

I use a Just Roadsters half cover - it's light plastic, waterproof and easy to fit (takes seconds) - has stretch pockets which go over the door mirrors, two elastic straps, one which goes beneath rear of the Zed, back of rear wheel arches and one across front of Zed under number plate. Some might worry about damage to paintwork but I've been using mine for about 18 months and it's not caused a problem even through a pretty windy year.

I use it most times I park the Zed up (even though its a daily driver) as it really is easy to fit - It gets parked on my drive and I hope the cover helps keep the rain from the roof motor.

Comes in a plastic zip up case (about 10 in by 4in) and I keep it in this, when not in use, in the boot.

£50 Wouldn't be without it.

:driving:
