Hood Cleaning

Ok so been using the Auto Glym Hood kit but still got a few mildew spots on the very top panel of the roof ( the bit that stays visible once it's folded) here's the question should I use a small nail brush to scrub the roof to remove these ?

i used milton steralising tablets to get the green off our z3 roof, cost pennies & worked for us

I had the same trouble ended up using Renovo from ultimate finish and now the roof looks like new.just Hoover the roof first then give it good clean and when dry brush it on for rich black finish.
