NOW SOLD

I've decided to sell my tidy, low mileage 2008 Honda VFR 800 VTEC ABS after four years of ownership. It has just ticked over 27,000 miles and flew through its MOT today. I bought the bike with full genuine Honda luggage (2 x panniers and 1 x top box with keys), painted in the bike's "Sword Silver" colour. This will be included in the sale.

Delkevic silencers and connecting pipe fitted, but can supply original Honda system if you don't enjoy the intoxicating sound of a V4.

I don't think we have many bikers on this forum so I won't go crazy with the info or pics, but please drop me a reply/message if you're interested.

Oooh, tempted. I need a bike for touring on, the blade is great for blasts out but luggage is cumbersome....

Will mill over this at the weekend.

That's precisely what I bought this for, but my mate I was intending on touring with ended up not getting his licence! I removed the luggage as soon as I got the bike home and it has been stored ever since. The tyres only have about 500 miles on them, nice and ready for a globe trot! I'll be fitting a new battery in the next couple of days too.

Here to answer any questions if you have any anyway

Always liked the VFR range, nice all round bike. GLWTS
Oh and there are quite a few bikers on hereby the way :)

Yeah the VFR has definitely earned its mighty reputation. My dad had an RC30 back in the day, which I would gladly swap mine for now!

I'm glad to hear there are some bikers about. A Z4 is a likely companion for a bike in any garage, I suspect :D

If my instructor saw you balancing your helmet on the bike, she'd give you a swift piece of her mind :D

Surely the helmet is balanced on the bike every time you ride it? :P

Interesting rule! I don't remember that one from the highway code
