Can anyone tell me is it possible to send a wi fi signal ie netflix via a homeplug to my tv, please excuse if this is a really dumb and obvious question.

Home plug uses the existing (power) cables in the house as an Ethernet cable. You simply plug it in a power socket next to the router and use an Ethernet cable to connect to your router/wifi box. Then, choose a power socket close to the other device (tv) and use the Ethernet cable to plug it in.

Tv > Ethernet cable > home plug > power cables > home plug > Ethernet cable > router

You can change the end devices however you see fit (it doesn't have to be a router & tv).

Have these as part of my setup at home, they work really well (once they are 'paired'). Have mine set up as a link from router to the bluray player, as my living room TV isn't a 'smart' TV. I assume your TV is smart stephendutton1963 and has an Ethernet connection?
