Homeless bum...

Yep, that's me. Living in the car now....

Not really, staying with friends after giving up possession of the house and don't get the new one until the 16th of May.
-- but it sure feels strange not having a home. I've always had a place, usually overlap ownership when moving to a new one but not this time... feels very odd.

Where are you moving to?

Moving to Vancouver Island, British Columbia. A town called Parksville (or French Creek, depends on which GPS you use :D ), the best weather on the island.

Looks like a fantastic place to live. Get your self a good wet suit, has to br some quality surf around there somewhere, if a little nippy.

Oh and one of these, for getting into town. http://pal-v.com/

The surf is on the other side of the Island up at Long Beach or Tofino, lots of surf bums up there. Tons of whales too, big business for the whale watching tours. (The Orcas only eat a few surfers each year, they do look like seals :D )

Pal-V ,,, very cool but I can roll a Porsche down to the town in two minutes then turn on the engine for the drive home  The biggest question I have is whether I can fit a folding golf pushcart into the front of the car or need to walk around the block to the clubhouse... 8)

 We only get Grey Seals, Basking Sharks and the odd Dolphin in these parts. Very few thing that will eat you anyhow.

Sounds like it might be time for an XKR. Lovley big boot. :D

Actually the Orcas don't seem to bother anyone, but I'm still not going to put on a suit that makes me look like a sharks dinner...

Grizzly bears on land , sharks and whales in the water.... the only safe place is in the air, maybe I do need that PAL-V
