Hey all,
Cool Z4 and wife checking in. We just arrived home yesterday, wed 9/5. Took our time home and made it in just over 3 1/2 days. Could have made it in 3 days, but why push it? Needed to stop by and see my sis in New Mexico.
Been reading your threads this morning and had enjoyed each one of them. I even saw me in a couple of the pics. Boy, don't I look cute wearing Ginger.. 8)
I was surprised about the gas mileage I got this year. I was getting well over 30mpg and cruising around 75 more or less all the way. Best I have done before was 27mpg just last year. So, I have a theory, the more mileage you piut on your car, the better the gas mileage? Or maybe my Oxygen sensors in my catalitic converter are bad and have failed open giving me a leaner mixture.. Yea, I knew they were bad before I left and on our last day comng home, the car acted up and had a rough idle going on. Other than that the car ran flawlessly. So, as the ones know that where at HC, I got the award for having the most miles on my Z4 of the cars at HC. I am now over 153k :driving: and going strong, mostly.
So, about HC, we actually arrived Wed the day before with imz4n in tow. Was going to stay in the smokey m ountains, but the rain made us change our minds, so we stayed in Greenville instead. Checked in on Thursday and actually got the cars washed before the rain destroyed all our hard work. :x
Went to the performance center friday morning and we only made 4 of the 6 races being offered. My best was 25.77 in the autocross and issed the best by 1.5 sec's or so. :headbang: Oh darn. I didn't fair well in anything else this year. Did the X3 course and had a great time on that.
Had a good time all the rest of the time. This thread is long enough, now. Time to go check on other threads..
