I'm just looking at renewing my home buildings and contents insurance.

As my wife has legal cover on her car and I have legal cover on my car do we need to pay for a 3rd time for legal cover on the
household policy ?

Just thought I'd check with you guys before pressing the buy now button.

Home legal cover may / may not cover legalities to do with motor claims and visa versa. You can by legal cover independently far cheaper. It's best to ask household insurer if they would cover you for a motor claim.

Thank you

They are different and are mutually exclusive.

Even with multiple car policies each legal cover only covered that policy, nothing else.

Just changing insurance myself now for next month, going down from almost £250 a month to £70 after my 5 year "theft" claim expired - rather a saving. 8)
