I am using internet explorer, this morning I get info its about to go unless I upgrade from Windows Vista, My main question is this, When I want to go particular site I use like Z4 forum I go to Faviourites and open it there, faviourites contain all my log in details etc, if I change to another browser like Google Chrome will it retain all my log in details that are in Internet explorer under favourites. I am still unable to access Z4 forum from my Iphone 5 with my log in details and password etc. keeps saying my details are wrong, I enjoy using it when in bed (health issues) but cant post anything, any help there please? Many thanks :D
 
People still use IE?! :o Don't use chrome its a slow piece of s**t nowadays. Download Opera. It will import all your bookmarks however you will have to put in your details.
 
Yeah, change to either Opera or Firefox and use that as your browser. Both will import your favourites.

You will have to sign on to the forum again (and any other website) in any new browser anyway.

The iPhone should be fine accessing the forum website, and the only reason you can't logon will be that you forgotten your password, or it could be those damned phone keyboards which are a pain to enter passwords. You could always use the I Forgot My Password link to get another one (assuming you have access to your email).

Note that passwords are usually case sensitive, so if there's a capital letter in there somewhere and you put the lowercase version, it won't log you on.

I've used Vista home premium for years but find it won't run with IE 8 or later so just use Firefox and it's great for web browsing. Will hang onto Vista until it dies and move over to Apple. I find Windows takes over your PC over time and never really liked it.

Great advise many thanks everyone, I will try to access Z4 forum from iphone 5 again tonight, I have tried it often without success, using same details as when on PC I keep getting I have entered wrong details ie Wrong user name or wrong password, will post results thanks again.
 
you could also try downloading a different browser on your phone. i personally use chrome on my android, its worth a shot if you still cant log in on your mobile.

Why do people slag off IE?

It still works, it ain't broke. :)

download W10 and you'll get EDGE - the new web browser ... [IE under a new name :lol: ]
 
Well I still have IE5 running on Windows 98 on the old machine tucked behind my chair. :D It's a lot slow though. :lol:
 
You might like to consider a password locker such as LastPass. It remembers all your passwords and you can take it to any platform I think. I know I use it with Firefox and my iPhone. Just do not loose your master password!

err, it looks like 98/Vista/7 to me :thumbsup:

ok, so there a few more bells and whistles, but overall they're back :D

and with [commentators curse] so far no issues :?
