Home Audio

So, I'm a bit of an audiophile and one of the only things that I wish I had in the zed is the top spec audio system. I kind of adopted the 'life's too short' motto recently and went on a bit of a spending spree. I bought some B&W CDN-7T's from my boss. Brilliant floor standees utilising the nautilus tweeter technology, and although a bit on the large side sound amazing. Ill be hooking them up to a Sonos connect Amp in the near future.

I also purchased two Sonos Play 3's. these small little units are brilliant! Amazing sound quality, and when put in a stereo pair really knock your socks off.

I don't blast music from any of the kit, it's all about the sound quality.

If anyone is considering something to play music through, the Sonos kit is brilliant. It's all wireless and is controlled by either an app on your iPad/pod/phone, mac or windows machine. I pay for Spotify premium which automatically links up to the Sonos. It means pretty much any track, any time streamed directly to your home audio.

Just my 2p's worth!

Bang & Olufsen here.... hooked up to their playmaker to stream music/video from my iPad/phone etc...

I agree, it's all about the sound quality... :D

That Sonos amp is Class D - interesting. I'd be skeptical pairing a "lifestyle" amp with those B&Ws (especially since kevlar-coned B&Ws have a reputation for needing decent amplification), but you get pretty decent bang for your buck with digital amps these days.

Sonos play 3 in the kitchen and the wireless bit connected to our AV amp.

Brilliant system, but bloody pricey!

those floor standers look so juicy.

Please continue this theme to your zed with a nice sq install.

:D
