How quickly does that get from 100-200kph ?!?! Nuts, but in a MK2 golf why?

The ultimate stealth car. Can you imagine, you're in your 911 turbo and see this thing up front, flash it and it just blows you away. Oh the shame! :D

I suppose the point I was making in my head was, to quote the advert "power is nothing without control" look at the standard wheels/brakes and how it twitches all over the road when he hits the loud pedal.

I really love the idea or concept of sleepers, but is the MK2 the right chassis to stick over a 1100bhp through. I fully agree that it is quite some piece of engineering and wIth acceleration like that there'll be little to keep up with it on the strip, but in the B road derby?

Well I'll be a monkey's uncle. I thought it was just an American sickness to chase big numbers only for the sake of the numbers. (We call it brochure racing) I have bigger numbers so I win. To hell with ANY ease of use, Traction, Cornering, Stopping. And with 2 litres making 1100HP one can count on a rebuild at every oil change. Who am I kidding. The oil will probably outlast the internals of the engine/transmission.

I'm with you on this one Dangerous-Dave. Brilliant in a mad scientist way, But like most mad scientist's they can't see the forest because of all those darn trees.

I have a Golf like that as well, just outputs the same without the redundant 0 though :D

I don't think there's much standard under the body shell. It's 4 wheel drive so guessing he's transplanted the running gear from a TT or S3 or similar into it.

I can't think of many tyres that could deal with what that monster is putting out :)
