I'm glad to hear your house only SMELLS like smoke, Socal. That's good news indeed. (And I vote yes... it should count.) :)

My god, though. 1500 homes destroyed in such a short time? I was just down in San Diego the day before this all started, and it's horrendous to see such devastation unleashed so quickly. :cry:

I seriously hope all is well for you folks down there.

um, you might have to wait a bit for socal..i hear she can only drive a couple of hours at a time..it'll be at least next week sometime before she makes it to Lost Vegas from Socal.

OK, I have seen her right behind me for what seems like 13 hours when we did the border run with Vroomer.

It was strong enough to give me a night of dreams about the 89 quake, but not bad here. Rosie was probably 20 miles closer than me, so she might have actually gotten some tipped over knick knacks and such.

My wife just pointed out that the cracks left over from 89 appear to be a touch longer.
