Just bookEd a completely different type of holiday for us this summer

Putting the Zed on the ferry to Santander and driving around northern Spain for a couple of weeks. 7 days in a villa and a few pre booked stops in nice hotels

Anyone got any 'must do' things in that region or best driving routes?

Looking forward to summer already

I'm doing the French and Italian Alps this summer, but on my bike.Route Napoleon,Monaco,Col Du Turini etc, done them before, they are stunning.I should lead arun down there some time, I know loads of amazing roads.have a great trip.

Depends where in North Spain, anywhere along the Pyenees is excellent, Andorra is worth a visit but can be a pain for traffic sometimes.
If over near Andorra and on the Spanish side, look for the N260 from Le Seu D'urgell to Sort and then Llavorsi, epic road, stunning scenery and white water rafting in Llavorsi.
Huesca and Jaca are nice towns for relaxed beer and food in the evenings.

I've done that crossing too, 36 hours iirc, was ok. Cinema, beer, food, cabaret and watching the dolphins.

Enjoy.

Cheers chaps, been to Andorra years ago. Thought the drive was great but the actual town a bit tacky

Thanks for the heads up on the road trip though
