Holiday destination - Anyone been to Argentina?

Hi guys,

looking to go away for two weeks in July. Me and the Wifey are on a budget.

We initially thought Safari, but I cant justify us going all out after spending nearly 4.5k on a honeymoon!!! Even though it was worth it...

Anyone been to Argentina? my absolute budget is 2k and that includes airfare..

I've backpacked through Asia (Cambodia, Thailand, Burma, Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia) by myself a few years ago. And i'd rather not go back to be honest.

I'm open to Suggestions.
 
go on a zed holiday round the uk - scotland or cornwall or? much cheaper :)

we wanted to go to Italy this year but were looking at 2.5 for just a week :o

so we are going to the lakes, edinburgh them northumberland for just short of 2 weeks all for less than a grand for all the accomadation :D

dont forget the UK is a beautiful place :D
 
I have been to Argentina, but the airfare alone was more then your budget ...

Was not too keen to be honest, with the 24 hour personal security around me etc it did not feel like the most of welcoming place. Meat was great though :thumbsup:
 
i went for a day whilst honeymooning in brazil, went to a national park, we were on a trip and had to collect other people on route, stopped in the dodgiest looking village ever, dont think i would go back, but glad i went.
