Time of the year to think about booking summer escape - we book up each year to go to our favourite Greek island - Thomson seem to have a monopoly with the Airport - Kavala - but this year Cosmos have muscled in which can't be a bad thing for competition :D Anyway getting to the point they are using an Arline called Small Planet - a Lithuanian airline . Being slightly paranoiac about flying this seems a little iffy - anyone know of this airline or flown with them ?

I couldn't wait till Summer and last night booked Paris with my bf in January for my birthday followed by 4 nights in Lanzarote with parents :) . I'm flying with BA, dad can get some discounts as he's a retired aircraft engineer so I usually fly them. Not heard of that airline you mention.

Just don't read the reviews …

I've been going to the Des alberes for 20 years, which is a few kms from Collioure (of which I am not a fan of!) Pm me and I can tell you anything you want.

Myself - I'm off to Lanzarote in Feb as Mrs.APW67 says I need to get fit again, so will by taking my bike for 7 days of training, followed in the summer by a few weeks on the yacht, cruising round Brittany & the Channel Islands. Can't wait already!! I HATE WINTER! 8)

After being off loaded by virgin this year on our way to NY which resulted in us being 3 hours later in getting to our hotel they affected us a free return flight for each of our party on any direct non stop ?Virgin flight. So we're back off the the states again, all booked already. Flights would have been £3,945 so a nice saving and a better holiday than planned :D

We usually take off for a road trip to somewhere in Europe for 3 weeks or so in summer - or Canada has been known as our daughter lives in Vancouver. The organisation is usually well under way by now but this year we decided on Norway which is a pain to get to by car / bike as there are no ferries from the UK anymore. So, we've booked a cruise instead - in May so best take our thermals! If we like it there I'll maybe organise a road trip for year.

We've also got a wedding in Cornwall in June so we've booked a cottage in Mullion for a week to make the trip down there worthwhile - the dogs will love it. Then we'll probably be heading over to France to visit mates who are working there for the summer and possibly head into Spain to visit more mates. I've also got a trip to one of the European Moto GPs to arrange with my lad, and if we can fit it in a trip to Scotland in the Zed. Could be a good year :)

We flew from Manchester with them in 2013. They were very good. No problem whatsoever. Like you I was a bit worried but everything was fine. In fact we are booked to go with them from Manchester next July.

Good to hear some positive feedback - looking at reviews there's good and bad but I suppose that's what you should expect with any service - I'm not bothered about the no frills aspect as long as the bugger's safe

We just love Greece - tried most of the Islands but once we discovered Thassos there's been no looking back - we've been returning there each year for over 10 years :D

Up to now the only British airline to go there has been Thomson so there has been no real choice .
