Hey guys,

New to the forum and to Z4s in general.

Currently drive a Corsa 1.3 CDTi which i've had and loved from the age of 17. I turn 21 on christmas eve and have decided I want to get something a bit different...

Originally intended to just look around and draw up a shortlist of potential cars, but immediately found and fell in love with the Z4, and I've now decided that's the car for me :)So I'll be buying one after christmas (insurance before I turn 21 is far too much, comes in at just over £1k after which isn't too bad).

Not sure what exactly car I'll be going for yet, will depend in part I guess on whats available on the used car scene at that time, but I think it'll be the 2.2 or 2.5 SE around 2004-2005 model I guess. From pictures I think grey or black, but gonna go view a few and decide later).

So yeah, apologies for the life story, good to meet you all! Anything I should know? :)

Have fun searching for your new zed. Get a roadster, you'll not regret it especially when the sun shines :driving:
 
Hi Carol,

I come form a little place Barrow-in-Furness where the sun never shines 8) Nevertheless it'll be the roadster I'm going for I think, the coupe is a little out of my price range - i'm hoping to spend 5-8k on a nice used one - although having said that I'm not all that clued up on all the models/trims etc available just now, so feel free to point me in the right direction :)
 
Good man! Barrow is in a beautiful part of the world so you can get some good hoons in around the lakes.
Tomscott lives in your neck of the woods too.
