Hi guys,

I was having a think in the car today about the M and its exhausts and remembered reading a thread on Cutters the other day where a member explained that he had pretty much tried every aftermarket exhaust and the best sound was upgraded "X pipes" and the standard box. As I already like the M box design/tips and its only issue is sound, has anyone ever replaced the X Pipes with an uprated s/s one and then carried out a Exdos exhaust mod?

I can sense a project , ... Pazabypass the 2nd :lol:

Yeah I was the one who started it as such a few years ago :D , sounded good after a few thousand miles on my old M :driving:

Just considering alternatives , it was great at full chat ... but not much lower down kinda wanted an all round improvement, without spending mega bucks
 
Yeah it sounded good has anyone gone for bigger pipes? am sure I had a qtr inch i heard some people went down the half inch route.. any audio about? / Was quite interested in the Exdos mod as this would producer a sound as well and also retains greater integrity of the exhaust ? hence thinking a combo of the two could sound pretty nice :D

Exdos, where abouts are you based as I drive through Wiltshire quite a lot and wouldn't mind a listen...
