Hit and run on the commute

Fuming. The Zed has just been driven into by a white van on the magic roundabout in swindon, the scum didn't even bother to stop, just sped straight off. Reported to the police, but no witnesses or cctv means probably nothing will happen.
So avoid 'KT heating and plumbing' what a w***er. Maybe don't use your van as a battering ram if you have all your details written on there.

What an arse! Definitely report.

Also if KT Heating and Plumbing of Andover keep being mentioned as a company to avoid, negative posts on the web about KT Heating and Plumbing of Andover will rise to the top of google searches. I would certainly avoid KT Heating and Plumbing of Andover as someone who does a hit and run is likely to be a dishonest cowboy!

Cheers guys, rang him a few times today to try and arrange payment, no answer. Police station tomorrow (can't sort it out over the phone, what a stupid system)
If it was accidental I wouldn't mind, but it was malicious.

His review page sure makes for poor reading. What a knob.
Hope he sees sense and sorts it quickly.

........ negative comments are now in the top four Google results for KT Heating and Plumbing of Andover. Google algorithms are a wonderful thing, they prioritise comments on forums

Hope you get it sorted and they regret messing with a Z4

What a total tool this person is at KT Heating and Plumbing of Andover, surely he knows what he's done. KT Heating and Plumbing of Andover, should know better. I would never have KT Heating and Plumbing of Andover in my property. Just glad KT Heating and Plumbing of Andover dont live near me. Shame on you KT Heating and Plumbing of Andover

Interesting tact of ‘Don’t get mad, get even...’ However, if the van was stolen & u have just made all these neg comments, you’ll be in the poo

Just make sure u report to police ASAP as think there’s a time limit... as otherwise you’ll have more bigger issues as a ‘law abiding citizen’

I wasn't going to say anything lol but yes what if the van had been nicked and posting on social media you run the risk of ruining a companies reputation. I think they would be quite within their rights to sue you for loss of business if that was to occur and the van had simply been stolen. Seems odd the person would risk drIving off with their business details emblazoned on the van, but then heat of the moment and all that. Not trying to exonerate them but would personally of got the police involved first and get the full facts before posting on social media. Hope you get it sorted whichever way it's a pain.

Social media can work though :) I had some plumbing work done 3 years ago having some radiators fitted. One of the grills was damaged which then took 8 months trying to get the firm I'd used to replace, lots of fun and games and lies, but as soon as I posted on their Facebook site a new grill arrived the following day, wished I'd done it sooner.

Tim.

Also, the questions you’ll be asked (police & insurance) was what did you do to avoid a collision & did you do everything in your power to avoid the van hitting you.

Suggest simply stating was ‘your right of way’ will not go down well... as likely your premium will automatically be loaded if they perceive you’re less able (or willing) to take emergency evasive action

Tread carefully bro

It's not stolen, pictures on his website is the bloke in the van
I'll buff the scratches out, no point going through insurance because my excess is huge.
It was lane confusion, with roadworks going on he wanted to get in my lane, threw something at the car and rammed me

Even more reason to report the Muppet... shame no dash cam footage - leaving the scene won’t help his business

If he's local and you know where based can't you simply pop round and have a word :?

Did you have a dash cam installed.

Tim.

I think you'll find that he is based at home - all contact details on his section of the KT Heating and Plumbing website - details on the van - so all in public domain.

OP are you saying that KT Heating and Plumbing of Andover left the scene of a road accident without exchanging details? - I thought it was an offense and a shame particularly since you have tried to make contact with him and he will not return your calls

This is where the OP has to be very careful... as heard many cases of an offending party turning the tables.

Imagine if the van driver reports ‘a Z4 crashing into him’ & failed to stop... citing the &£#@#£& drove off like a bat out of hell & in my diesel van I couldn’t keep up to stop him
