Hit a bump now battery won't charge.

I was driving my 2003 BMW z4 2.5i and I hit a bump and then the abs, brake light, and sterrwheel light came up on the dash. Once I got home I noticed my car wouldn't turn on. I replaced the battery and it started up with no problems drove it for 35 minutes then the lights came back up I still drove it and then the lights got dimmer and dimmer. I pulled over and teh car wouldn't start again. I charged up the battery and plugged a multimeter and I was getting around 11.75 voltage with the car off as soon as I start teh car it went down to around 10.75-9.75. Is there something wrong with the alternator or is there a fuse that couldn't have went out? Please help!!!
 
sounds like a loose wire to me, check the wires at the back of the alternator and from the battery to the alternator and all earth connections ..engine to body etc. good luck, let us know what you find !

There is not much point checking the static voltage. Run the engine and see what the voltage level rises to. 13.9 - 14.4 volts is approximately the correct charging voltage if the battery is discharged like your is.

check under the bonnet for a loose connection from the alternator. Don't forget that the steering on your car is electrically powered and a loss of DC power could cause much heavier steering, so be careful. An auto electrician should be able to diagnose this.
 
You can't really miss the connection on the back of the alternator, it's pretty large, as said, check that and also check the integrity of the belt. If it's the belt the good news is it's less than 20$ and is very easy to fit. There's images on the net of the route, I did mine tuesday night and it's really very easy but helps if you have two people (one to rotate the tensioner down and the other to slip the belt on it's final pulley.
 
No it's not the belts S I replaced them a few months ago. I got a new battery and the same thing starting happening. With the multi meter when I turn the car on the voltage does not go up it starts going down. Is there a fuse that maybe I should see before replacing the alternator?
