Hill Climbing Anyone

Brilliant footage and some fantastic cars. Some real talented drivers and cracking driving, and plenty of moments where the talent bag was less full than the driver had hoped.

The r35 GTR looked quick, right up until the moment it hits the tree head on.

And that's why I don't track my cars.....at least the ones I like to keep in one piece....

Looks like a brilliant race   :driving:

Amazing video! Some serious cars and interesting to see the short wheel base cars spinning so easily!

Love the Renault 5 Gordini, thanks for sharing

Whilst I'd love to tell you all that there's plenty of hill-climbing action every weekend all across the UK, I can't, because there isn't.

We don't have the regulations in place to enable the road closures we'd need to run the sort of event you see abroad, and we're limited to 0.5-1.2 mile runs up private roads on private estates (Goodwood, Harewood House, Shelsley Walsh, Loton Park, Prescott, etc.).

However this limited calendar means you never have to miss one due to a clash of dates :P

The action is still good, and our climbs don't have the width of some of these in the video, and we also have our fair share of expensive-looking crashes. We also get a huge range of cars from 106 Rallyes to F40s and Bugatti Veyrons to ex-F1 and F3 cars running on methanol.

Great video, thanks for posting.

Any useful links to climb schedules mmm-five?

Found another worth watching for pure speed:
