I have just returned from 4 days in West Virginia where I attended Cloverleaf II which is a Regional ZSCCA event. It is some of the best driving anywhere on the East Coast. Great mountain roads, very little traffic and a no speed traps. Below is a short video of a 5 minute hill climb going up over 2000 feet. (600 + meters) The road is much steeper that it looks in the video. I can't recall using any gears higher that 3rd going up the hill. The car in front of me in this video is a 2001 ///M roadster and the driver is a good friend of mine and member of our local club. He is German and had been working in the US for about 3 years now. He purchased the ///M roadster used when he was transfer to the US and likes it so well that he is taking it back to Germany with him when he return this August. Once he gets the ///M registered in Germany it will be only 1 of 84 Z3 ///M roadster in Germany with a value there of almost 2X its value here.
I wish I had a better system for capturing the sound as most of the Zed making this climb were ///M's and the sound was just intoxicating... :sweetheart:
