‘Hike’ in insurance premium

Surprised to find that my premium for the Z4C only increased from £180 to £186. Fully comp, protected no claims, with Admiral. Expected to have to have to get loads of quotes again this year. Result!

Phone them up and ask why. I got a pile of sh*te from eSure last year when I questioned the increase from £181 to £190 with maximum NCD.

The no doubt spotty faced youth told me it was due to me being a higher risk due to my neighbours 4 cars and 3 sons that are young drivers.

Will be shopping around this year.

its well known they hike the regulars. you have 2 choices, ring around or ring your own and tell them your leaving thay have departments especially for leavers and will always drop the price to keep you.

I can't believe that, it's so ridiculously unfair. You have no control over who your neighbours are. I would be taking that to the insurance ombudsman. I know it's only a few pounds but it's the principle!
