Highest Height Of Roof During Operation

Been looking without success to find the highest point measurement if the roof while in operation when retracting. Does anyone know what it is?

I would guess it to be the front corners of the boot when it hinges up from the rear.
I would have expected BMW to publish a swept envelope diagram or similar but
would you like an empirical measurement taking next time I open up?

I am just over 6' and the components are well under my height when operating. So unless your garage was built for a midget you'll be ok.

Hmmm I've always been tempted to operate the roof under the car port but been too chicken even though there looks to plenty of height.

Out of interest does the roof operate when the car is on a slope? I made the mistake of closing the roof on a Pug 207CC on the drive which is sloped as forgot and the roof scraped on the boot as it lifted out as the boot lid had tipped slightly forward  Always been cautious since to make sure the car is level.

i did open mine once whilst doing a 3 point turn, the camber of the road was quite steep and was on a hill had a message " impossible angle" come up
just waited until the car was more level and it continued to open
