Hi z4 community,
My car started shaking slightly and the rpm meter was going back and forth to small degree when the service engine soon light came on. I ran the obd tool to find that there was misfire in cylinder 3. There was also oil on the spark plug on cylinder 3. I was hoping it was a spark plug or the ignition coil BUT.. when I checked the oil level it was below the minimum line and the coolant was also very low. A little internet research pointed toward the ccv valve and the hoses that connect to it. It looks very oily and the inside has yellowish creamy looking substance
I have attached the pictures. I am replacing the ccv components. I also see there is oil on other components, not sure the terms. I also see the engine mount is easily accessible after removing the intake manifold. Any advice is appreciated.
