joke it is it looks better that the 30k mile sepang roadster that was sold recently.

somebody has bloody loved that, and 1 owner from new...... would never guess thats on 120k miles from those pics.... if i was ever going to spend sub 10k on a z4m, this looks like a solid bet, refresh the rod bearings and enjoy.

Looks in very good condition from the pics and the price is more than good for a coupe on that mileage, test drive will tell with noises etc

One owner car, bet he's had some fun in that over the last 7 years.

All services look to have been done at the same place (apart from the last) so it shouldn't be too hard get find out about the car, what work it's had done etc.

Must make mine worth about £5k

Another black one on my drive for £5k sounds like a great deal :D just got to get the better half to agree  she would kill me

I bet a lot of the miles where nice motorway miles.... The engine and box will be in as good condition had it done 50k..

Bargain....

If it wasn't silver I would have had that away. Buy it!

And don't worry about piling miles on as its already a high miler!

Bargain if in real life its as good as the pictures look. Excellent entry into the world of ///M

Would you not be concerned at things such as clutch life and Vanos issues? I only ask as I keep tempting myself towards an M, but am more than slightly put off by the potential for issues...

Nah....

Clutches can last forever if driven correctly and a lot of miles in a relatively short time usually means motorway miles...No clutch wear. I would be more worried about one thats seen a track and Mcdonalds car park a few times..

Vanos...

Can get noisy at any time nowadays.... cars are 6-8 yrs old.. Low mileage is no guarantee of trouble free motoring.

clutch is a wearable item, no biggy on it being replaced...

Vanos?? they can fail on sub 20k vehicles, some general light maintenance while doing shims would but worthwhile , but wither way at that price for a car thats been with 1 owner all its life, you can pretty much bet he hasn't spared expense with it, i bet thats a very very solid motor in that car with lots of lovely motorway miles. Silver on the z4mc is a rare colour too.

I'm finding it increasingly difficult to not get an M.... you guys aren't helping!! :P

Mine's on 125k and it's original clutch/flywheel.

Majority of driving is motorway commute between Liverpool & London - which can involve a fair amount of stop/start.

It's also used for Ring trips, Oulton/Cadwell/Donington track days, Welsh hoons, etc.

If I can get 125k out of a clutch with that usage, I'm sure one that doesn't see the track will get 150k+ - or maybe I'm just a driving god :|
