High mileage risk?

Guess there's always a risk but some Zeds have done a great deal of miles when properly serviced - http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=57963#p850738-
I had a 330 before the zed, 120k on clock and nothing but problems, ok I found out later it had a history and also made mistake of fitting induction kit that I am pretty sure f**ked every sensor on it.
I spent bit more and got lower mileage, I guess it depends what you want, but for me spending a little extra on a good car is worth it longer term

Mileage on BMW,s , VAG,s ,Mercs etc not an issue within reason , ,100k/150k wouldn,t bother me if the price reflected /
What does bother me is seeing a well documented service record , lots of receipts , quality tyre brand , interior in good order & for me low number of owners with the latest being a good number of years

We sold our '02 330 with 97k on the clock and it was still spot on with the exception of brake discs, which were juddery, a couple of tyres needed replacing, and a front spoiler that more stone chips that Travis Perkins.
Just check EVERYTHING works ok, and you'll avoid walking straight in to a bill in the first few days, or buy in the knowledge that it's something that can be fixed. Don't expect garage queens either
