So it was inevitable it was going to happen, rushing today I clipped my back wheel  luckily not too badly!! managed to do a reasonable repair myself
So this was the damage not a lot but annoying

Rub the area down with wet and dry to remove all of the kerb marks leaving it's smooth

Next build up layers of black Hammerite paint until All the curbing has disappeared doesn't look too bad certainly better than a silver streak on a black wheel20160722_164354.jpg unless you're actually looking for it is pretty hard to find

Yeah pretty happy with it, (happier if I wasn't the idiot who did it in the first place) you take a picture close-up it's obvious where it is.,when you stand next to the car it's pretty hard to see it

Much better after your making good
Most people used to touch the curb occasionally but it never mattered with the old wheels/tyres, now we have low profile rubber & expensive alloys it makes you curse when you touch one :slaphead:

I nearly sent you a PM but I thought it was too late. I was in Worcester today at the DVLA Auction at the Morgan Factory. If you'd popped down there instead you wouldn't have kerbed your wheel Mr Forks!
