High Beam Flash Wiring

So I recently installed some aftermarket headlight units into my 2004 Z4 2.5i. The car came with factory xenon but I got headlight units that are for factory halogen because I could get them for half the price of the conversion ones.
The only issue seems to be that my high beams don’t receive signal when I push the switch forward. I can flash high beams but can’t leave them switched on. This is an unimportant issue for me and seems worth the 300$ difference in headlights. I have a few ideas on how to resolve this issue though.
If I locate the output of the flasher and the running brights, I could use them to trigger two relays which both power the brights. This seems the be the most complicated version.
I could take apart the switch itself and find the two wires that trigger brights (flash and running bright) and just splice them together but this would leave the xenon plug getting powered when I have the brights on.
The final option, the one I’m leaning towards is cutting wire B (running brights) and splicing half of it into wire A (flasher). This seems to be the best option in my mind.

Does anybody see any major issues with any do these methods or possible have a better method in mind.

Better imho to try and code the LCM. Might be a bit of trial and error, but a comparison with a Halogen stock code might help. Certainly worth a try before butchery.

Priority 1 for me when doing any wiring is can I make it reversible to stock. If coding doesn't work then it is possible to buy the same wiring crimp ends to replace in stock connectors. People often cut wires where it is possible to remove one intact and replace in the same stock connector.

What year is your car? You can find WDS (BMW wiring diagrams) online.

Do you have a factory sat nav flip up screen? if so get an intravee box and it has flash to pass, i got that added when i updated my olf pre-face xenons to facelift and had the same problem. if you don't have flip up screen then still get the intravee box but you will need someone with a screen to set it up for you then plug it into car via the CD cable in the boot area behind the carpet.
