Had hid's before but the light output was a bit chavvy (colour). Fitted a new set yesterday and all was fine. I even drove the car for 30 minutes without issue.
today, I turned the car on and the lights began flickering. I then turned the engine off but left the lights on and they were fine.
as soon as I turned the engine back on, they began flickering again before going out entirely.
has anyone else had this problem? I'm guessing they aren't able to draw enough power from the battery on a cold start up.
what can be done to sort this?
