Hideous rear spoiler

On seriouos note do we know of any spoilers that produce actual downforce? I'm wondering if there would be a way to have a removable one for lond circuit track days.

Ah that depends, a spoiler in the correct definition spoils the air as it leaves the car and thus reduces drag, an aerofoil is basically an upturned wing where the aerodynamic lift generated adds a force to push the car down.

I do not believe that the thing pictured on the Zed is either but rather a device for natural selection, that is to dispose of the populous that have horrendous taste, in fitting something like that believing that it looks good or makes any performance advantage and thus driving faster, in the vein hope that they might do themselves serious injury and not be able to proliferate.

If any bloke driving round with that spoiler on his car can get a shag then my opinion of todays women will drop even lower, i think the spoiler itself is a sure fire form of contraception :lol:

the spoiler that is for sale looks like the one that was used on a French GT racing car a few years ago. It was also used in either Brazil or Argentina.....

THe only use of a rear wing is to generate downforce and increase grip in corners. Increased drag however means lower top speed. Blablabla.

Its no longer for sale because I bought it... :? Its the right colour for my Z4 and I think it looks really good. Plus it'll help a lot with the light rear end I get when pulling out to overtake at 120+mph :evil:
