HID Question

Okay, so I always buy HID conversion kits for almost every car I have had.

The lights on my new E85 '06 3.0si are less than dim, verging on dangerously low light so I 100% want to upgrade them.

My question is this, can you realistically put an HID conversion kit into the fog lights also ?
The light housing looks small from the front so my only concern is heat, will an HID melt the housing?

I have projectors for the Dips, and due to warm up time main beam is usually best not to be HID.

I'd welcome your thoughts on this guys, thanks.
 
I use LED, I dont remember how hot HID gets but the cheap LED kit that doesn't blind people seems to work, newer LED are almost as good or better than HID
 
Are you planning on driving round with the foglights on all the time or just when the high beam is on?
