Hibernation dilemma *NOW SOLVED *NOW THREAD ON EUROTRIP

Your French sortie sounds a good plan Jembo , Love Le touquet on foot but its a terrible place for car,s 8)
St Omer around 45mins drive from the tunnel has a decent centre square surrounded by bars & cafes or better still Cambrai around 90 mins :driving:

You see...this thread of mine has even spawned a Eurohoon idea. Good Thing No.2 to come in 2014 and it's only the 4th January :D

Jem - got your message. Was mid bathtime (mini-teething inkey$, not me) so sorry I missed you mate.

Maybe I'll be safer being a passenger and drinking wine all day :) of course if anyone has a seat spare (not Bing  )

That's not very nice. It was an accident, honest

The idea of a road trip sounds great! I'd like to be provisionally in as long as I can get a seat as a passenger.

let's beg or borrow to make sure there's more than 3 SATNAV's between us, though given France is 1 hour ahead we really ought to be looking at a 5:30ish EuroTunnel crossing,

So if you have suggestions of:
a) good roads that allow for safe progress
b) interesting places to stop for pictures / coffee / rendezvous etc...
c) time to end the hoon
d) AOB

pls PM them to me, then depending on interest I'll pick a weekend & will then be your responsibility to book the EuroTunnel crossing (and of course turn up)

Z4 National hoon day is last weekend in April, so looking at Sunday 28th April

No ideas yet from anyone, though I'll start a dedicated thread on the weekend if interest continues
