Hibernation dilemma *NOW SOLVED *NOW THREAD ON EUROTRIP

See, that's the thing. Loads of people say they like SORNing their car, or driving it very rarely over winter months, as it feels like a new car all over again when they get back in it. For me, unless I had a really blinding car to use as a daily - like JaxZ4 and his RS4 Avant for example - I couldn't bear seeing my Z looking neglected in the garage. It's just wrong to pack all that fun away out of sight for so long IMO, when everything else (the length of the days, the weather, the bank balance) is so not fun at this time of year.

Hey Bing,I know we've never met but I wouldn't mind a hoon some time,it doesn't have to be staged.

inky$,you are only down the road from me Barnehurst /Bexleyheath
There's a group of us select Z4Fer's in this neck of the woods; no doubt some impulsive evening hoonage will be declared in the coming weeks and months as the nights start to draw out again

At least 4 months away for me :(

Lynchy - unless it's a real spur of the moment thing we'll try and get a couple of us along

I haven't been on a meet yet, but hoonage sounds like it could be a nice little taster...

Lynchy, you aren't exactly a million miles from me either

check out the yorkshire meet coming up on the 1st of feb!

Won't you still be on winters then?

As for a Kent hoon, was thinking about taking a very early morning Zed raiding party into France with a day return on the EuroTunnel, lunch in Le Touquet, possibly stopping off at a few choice locations, enjoying some fast back roads I know before hitting CitideEurope towards end of March.

Return ticket's about £54 at the mo....

Thoughts?

This sounds good! I could then follow someone which would help me being able to drive on the other side of the road

I seem to remember using both sides of the road on the last Kent run, so am sure that experience will put you all in good stead.

Maybe I'll be safer being a passenger and drinking wine all day :) of course if anyone has a seat spare (not Bing  )
