Hi everyone,

I'm Harry and I brought my 3l roadster a couple of months ago. I think the previous owner uses this forum, he now has a lovely blue Z4MR.

My previous car history (worth noting) goes like this:

And now I have this little beauty (pics taken today with no editing other than number plates and a bit of sepia):

I love it! The Fabia was awesome as a quick, frugal mile muncher but the Z is just so much nicer to be in. It's definitely worth the extra fuel money, even for my 70 mile a day commute.

I haven't got many plans for it, apart from adding cruise control. To be honest its pretty close to how I would have made it given a clean slate, pretty lucky really.

Hope you like :D

Hi and welcome to the forum Harry :)

Nice zed you have bought  I dont recognise the zed but am sure someone will.

Welcome Harry - great motoring history

You have reached an apex with your Z - enjoy :driving:

Hello and welcome, love the Rays on the dash.....so old school

Hi, and welcome from another new member and new Z4 owner. Your car history is impressive.

At my age my car history is of years of going for the practicalities like would it take two child seats and a carry cot restraint, how was it for towing the caravan, how good a deal were we getting, and so on. This started in 1971 and involved a Mini Clubman, Renault 5, two Renault 12s, two Ladas (nil on cred, 10/10 for value and practicality) a Fiat Regata, a Sierra Estate, a Toyota Space Cruiser (the children loved it, it loved filling stations; the z4 is very economical in comparison), a Skoda Superb (name says it all), and several more down to the present VW Touran (known as my Tourette at work) and the first car I have bought purely for fun and for me, my lovely Z4. :)

Thanks again for the comments. My old cars had their charm but I'm definitely more in love with the Z than any of them.

Not sure about entering the photo comp, there is some pretty stiff competition already! I'll see how it goes :D

Hi Harry. What a corker! From first glance I thought it was Ranski's. love the wheels
Makes me realise why I need to get clear lenses :(
