Thought I would de-lurk.

The occassion for De-lurking is the arrival on a shiny new 2.0 Sdrive. :) Think I may have the first in the coutry yay. My previous Z4 was an 07 2 litre.

Welcome!

Am sure many one here, myself included, would like to here more about what you think of the 2.0 (although there will be some jealous folk who will make 4-pot jibes!!)

Plus don't forget some pics!

Hello and welcome, yes certainly interested in your view of the 4 pot version, what made you go for the 2.0 and not the 2.8?

Ill post some pictures later. I tried yesterday but the internet at home was being ropy.

Im very impressed with her. Seems to have a lot of reserves, but I am treating the car gently for the moment. At least to run the engine in before I see what it can really do.

I am also seeing how economical it is in comparison to my old Z4, which is quite difficult to do at the moment as it has been good weather and the roof keeps coming down :).

The boot seems a lot bigger, but then with the folding roof you have to move the roof protector over the boot. This restricts access to the boot quite a bit, and reduces size of the boot a lot. Looks like if I go to the supermarket the return journey may have to be done withthe roof up.

It feels a bigger car as well. The steering feels slightly lighter than the old Z4, but it tightens up a bit in sport mode. Cant decide yet whether the steering adapts to speed or not. Also it will feel lighter with four fresh unscrubbed tyres on there as well.

It has sports seats, the comfort pack, professional radio (enough to drown out any wind noise) radio preperation, adaptive headlights. So nicely loaded up with toys.

I love the sports seats on this as well, they just grip you perfectly, and hopefully ill have less complaints from my other half when going round roundabouts now :)

Got to admit to being completely confused by having the handbrake as a small silver switch, but I am getting used to it.
