Hi All,

Getting my first real 2 seater and my heart is set on going straight to a Z4M.

Hoping to pick one up in the very near future and wanted to say Hi and introduce myself first of all. Will share when I eventually buy. Forum is already a great source of collating experience and points of view and I look forward to contributing.

Yep straight in the deep end. Fortunately I'm nearly 40 and got a decent amount of experience in driving some nicer cars, just never owned.

I am aware of the challenges given the car and all the power going the rear but I'm going to be very respectful of it. For those of us of an older vintage this was a car I used to use on Gran Turismo back in the day and one I've always wanted to own. Bit of an attainable dream car to me.

I suspect the challenges will be be slightly more wallet orientated, but you only live once.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

If you haven't already make sure you do some research on how much more an M will cost to to run. I knew what to expect before I bought mine and decided it was a price worth paying. :D

Good luck finding the right one.

Well I'm aware on the tax, servicing levels and Insurance but are there some consumables or something else that I'm not taking into account? Happy for you to drop me a DM with your thoughts or experience of the running costs.

The ///MR was my first two seated too. They handle fine. Just as long as you turn the steering wheel fast enough. The wrack is darn slow. The engine though is simply to die for. Welcome on board. :D :driving:

Picked up the new pride and joy today.

Massive thanks to Lynchy for taking great care of the Z4M and I'm thrilled to be the owner for the next stage of her life!

Thanks also for re-installing the GruppeM indcution, it really makes an insane difference to the noise and for me is the cherry on top of the cake!

I've hankered after a Z4M since I first saw one in my early 20's and now beyond excited to own one.

 You will need to reclassify yourself on here, most of us are still trying to get to grips with the concept of a mobile phone

Also, many of us are familiar with Lynchy’s former car but we still like to see pictures

Cheers for clarifying that Ben, I was just about to ask if Gran Turismo was on BBC or ITV.

Not compared to the rest of us!. The average age on here is a lot older. I passed my driving test before you were on solid food! :o
I've got socks older than you!

Enjoy your new toy and welcome to the best Z4-dedicated forum on t'internet. :D
