Hi, thought Id do the usual, I have come over from the Zroadster forum, as Its a bit quiet there for z4ers.

I had a 2.8 Z3 a couple of years ago, but just sold my XK8 and am looking to get a Z4 as the 3 was brilliant, but decided to get a 4 this time.

Im just trying to read through the posts to find the main problems with the Z4 as I am a DIYer and have a small workshop, so I can get any problems sorted myself.

The car's will have been well looked after by the forum members :thumbsup:
 
There are very few common problems. Broken rear springs is the one that comes to mind, followed by roof motors for cars that live outside.

Other than that, they're pretty strong cars.
